MSC Certification of the Argentine Red Shrimp Fishery

The article reports that FisheryProgress welcomed the MSC certification of the Argentine red shrimp fishery as the result of more than a decade of fishery sustainability improvements. The process included progress in interjurisdictional coordination, scientific research, data transparency, fishery management, monitoring, onboard observers and compliance with sustainability standards for Argentina’s provincial and offshore red shrimp fisheries.
