Description

Bolivia’s National Agroecology Strategy establishes a national framework to promote agroecology as an integrated pathway to strengthen food security and sovereignty, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and the rights of Indigenous peoples, women and youth. The strategy proposes a structural transformation of the productive and food system through ancestral and scientific knowledge, research, capacity development, agroecological management, markets, guarantee systems, financing, participatory governance, gender equity and intergenerational inclusion.
