11th Sectoral Plan for Sea Resources 2024-2027

Decree No. 12,363 of January 17, 2025 approves Brazil’s 11th Sectoral Plan for Sea Resources, aimed at defining guidelines and priorities for the sector for the 2024-2027 period. The plan contributes to the National Policy for Sea Resources through actions related to scientific research, technological development, conservation and sustainable use of living and non-living marine resources, prevention and mitigation of pollution, oceanographic and climate monitoring, training of human resources in marine sciences, blue economy, marine spatial governance, ocean culture and maritime awareness.
