Saint Lucia’s Renewable Energy Sector Development Project (RESDP) aims to explore the viability of the country’s geothermal resources for power generation and strengthen the enabling environment to scale up clean energy investments with the private sector. The project includes geothermal exploration drilling, technical assistance, support for legislative and regulatory reforms, capacity building, public and private sector engagement, market studies, environmental and social safeguards, and training and employment opportunities for women in the energy sector.
