Federal Coordination Plan ENSO 2026/2027

The Government of Argentina approved the Federal Coordination Plan ENSO 2026/2027, aimed at strengthening technical and operational coordination between the national government and provinces in response to risks of floods, river rises and other hydrometeorological events associated with El Niño. The plan includes permanent monitoring, scientific and georeferenced reports, early warning systems, coordination with provincial jurisdictions and complementary deployment of federal resources when the scale of the event exceeds local response capacity.
