National Drought Plan of Ecuador (PNS) 2021-2025

Public policy plan aimed at strengthening drought management and reducing Ecuador's vulnerability to this phenomenon. Jointly developed by the MAATE, MAG and SNGRE, with technical support from CIIFEN and funding from the EU's EUROCLIMA+ programme. It responds to Ecuador's commitments under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and Drought, and includes the development of a National Drought Monitor operated by INAMHI as an early warning tool.
