The Specialty Crop Multi-State Program (SCMP), administered by USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, supports collaborative multi-state partnerships to enhance the competitiveness of U.S. or U.S. territory-grown specialty crops in domestic or foreign markets. The FY 2026 funding opportunity supports competitively funded three-year projects ranging from USD 250,000 to USD 1,000,000, focused on regional or national specialty crop issues such as food safety, plant pests and disease, research, crop-specific common issues, and marketing and promotion. Approximately USD 14.3 million is available for FY 2026, and applicants must provide a cost share equal to 25 percent of the Federal funds requested.
