Executive Decree No. 45675-MAG-S-SP-MOPT on cattle traceability and individual identification in Costa Rica

Executive Decree No. 45675-MAG-S-SP-MOPT of Costa Rica reforming the National Individual Identification and Traceability System for Cattle and the regulation governing cattle movement control. The framework strengthens livestock traceability, sanitary surveillance and animal movement control through official individual identification, digital cattle registration and digital movement permits managed by SENASA. It also introduces operational adjustments to improve regulatory compliance, cattle theft prevention and national epidemiological control.
