Strengthening Food Security Response Capacities in SICA Member Countries: Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republi

Non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement signed on April 9, 2025 between the IDB and the General Secretariat of SICA for US$550,000, plus a local counterpart contribution of US$160,000, to strengthen institutional food and nutrition security capacities in Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Organized into two components: (i) development of a regional SAN information and indicator system with gender and ethnic diversity lens; and (ii) strengthening of SAN institutions at the regional and national levels, including IPC training and elaboration of national chapters of the SAN CELAC Plan.
