Strategic Reserves of Basic Grains Strategy for the SICA Region 2025–2030

Regional normative instrument approved by the Central American Agricultural Council, aimed at strengthening public food supply and marketing institutions across the eight SICA countries. Organized around six strategic axes: inclusive production and marketing for family farming; improvement of strategic reserve policies; market stabilization and transparency; efficient emergency response; integration and governance of grain inventories; and communication of results. Led by SE-CAC with FAO and WFP technical support.
