Description

Chile’s Food Contingency Plan is a short-term policy response to the global food crisis, characterized by rising food and input prices, logistical disruptions, and climate-related risks. Developed under the National Commission for Food Security and Sovereignty, the plan articulates intersectoral measures aimed at ensuring food availability, access, and logistics, prioritizing domestic production strengthening, support for family farming, and improvements in commercialization and distribution systems.
