Law 2409 which promotes the development of the agricultural and rural sector in Colombia

A law aimed at promoting the development of the agricultural and rural sector through financing measures, rural financial inclusion, and the modernization of agriculture. The law promotes agricultural innovation and precision agriculture, strengthens the interoperability of “Mi Registro Rural” with registries of victims, land, and ethnic populations, prioritizes productive projects in PDET and ZOMAC municipalities, enables the capitalization of the Agricultural Guarantee Fund, promotes campaigns for healthy and responsible consumption, and fosters agricultural training in new technologies with a territorial, sustainable, and inclusive approach.
