The irrigation(Validity and Indemnity) Act

This Act provides for validating and confirming the operations and all other acts done in good faith by the National Irrigation Commission Limited in the following matters: developing and implementing projects; procurement; sourcing funding; recruitment and training of staff; educating the public and promoting its services through public relations; initiating legal proceedings; committing to fund compulsory land acquisitions; engaging new customers for non-potable water.
