Description
The National Water Program Guide outlines how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, tribes, states, territories, and nongovernmental partners will work together to protect and improve the quality of the nation's waters. In communicating operational priorities and providing a source of guidance for grants, the NWPG for FY 2025-2026 builds on the agency's FY 2022-2026 Strategic Plan and the FY 2025 President's Budget. In addition, the document outlines how the Water Bureau will continue to build on President Biden's executive orders to address climate change, advance environmental justice, and ensure civil rights are integrated into the agency's mission. The NWPG is intended to be a tool for EPA regional offices to use with states and tribes when developing annual work plans for grants or performance collaboration agreements (PPAs).
