Brazilian Action Plan to Combat Desertification and Mitigate the Effects of Drought (PAB-Brazil)

Description

The initiative establishes 38 strategic objectives and 175 actions with monitoring indicators that will guide the federal government's efforts to prevent and combat desertification and restore degraded land in all biomes until 2045. The actions will directly benefit nearly 39 million people living in more than 1,600 municipalities located in areas susceptible to desertification (ASD), an area equivalent to approximately 18% of the national territory.
