Fecha de inicio: 2022
Fecha de fin: 2022

Description

"Irriga+Brasil is a national program that seeks to expand irrigation systems in a sustainable manner. Its overall objective is to promote increased production of food, fiber, and bioenergy in Brazil through irrigation, combined with soil and water conservation practices in areas already anthropized, with a view to the sustainable intensification of Brazilian agriculture. By formulating proposals for actions to promote, govern, and adapt regulations to the current meaning of irrigated agriculture, the program seeks to contribute actively and positively to food security in the country and around the world. The program's operational actions are structured around four strategic pillars: Legal Framework; Governance; Credit; and Research, Technology, and Innovation. "
