Comprehensive National Water Plan

"Argentina Irrigada is a comprehensive plan to revitalize investment in sustainable irrigation systems in the country. The Plan includes 95 projects* distributed throughout the country. Since 2002, the cultivated area has been gradually increasing, but this has not been accompanied by the incorporation of technified irrigation. While 10% of the cultivated area is irrigated in Latin America, only half of that is irrigated in our country. Various factors have discouraged investment in irrigation systems. This Plan aims to reverse this situation by promoting sustainable irrigation to improve production, competitiveness, and added value throughout the country."
