Description

This Act provides Jamaica’s legal framework for plant quarantine, enabling the declaration of notifiable pests, establishment of infected areas, movement restrictions, inspection, destruction of plant material, import controls, and phytosanitary certification. Supporting Orders and Regulations detail operational measures for disease and pest control, importation rules, and certification schemes for citrus propagation material.
