Resolution No. 00002081 of 2024: National Plan for the Prevention, Surveillance and Control of Fusarium Tropical Race 4 in Colombia

Resolution issued by the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) adopting the National Plan for the Prevention, Surveillance and Control of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Tropical Race 4 (FOC TR4), also known as Fusarium odoratissimum, throughout Colombia. The resolution establishes biosecurity, prevention, phytosanitary surveillance, detection, containment and disease management measures to protect banana and plantain production. It defines obligations for growers, traders, exporters, planting material suppliers and other stakeholders, as well as inspection, monitoring and enforcement responsibilities assigned to ICA.
