Description

This Mexican Official Standard establishes mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation of propagative plant material, including seedlings, cuttings, bulbs, tubers, rhizomes, in-vitro material, and other vegetative structures, in order to prevent the introduction and spread of exotic or quarantine pests within Mexico. It specifies inspection points, documentation requirements, phytosanitary certificates, approved treatments, sampling and verification procedures both at origin and at entry points, ensuring the protection of national agricultural health and reducing biosecurity risks.
