Description

The Regulation of the Federal Plant Health Law establishes the administrative, technical, and operational rules for implementing Mexico’s Federal Plant Health Law. It governs epidemiological surveillance, phytosanitary campaigns, pest risk analysis, inspection and certification systems, domestic movement controls, and import/export phytosanitary requirements. It assigns responsibilities to SENASICA and auxiliary organizations and regulates traceability mechanisms and mandatory phytosanitary measures to prevent, control, and eradicate regulated pests within the national territory.
