Chief Resolution No. 204-2024-INIA: Advances in research and management of Foc R4T within the framework of the ALER4TA Regional Project

This resolution is part of the actions developed by the National Institute for Agricultural Innovation (INIA) within the framework of the ALER4TA Regional Project ("Innovations for the management and prevention of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Race 4 Tropical in South America"), promoted by the Bioversity International & CIAT Alliance and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project promotes applied research and knowledge exchange among countries in the region for the control of Foc R4T through the development of biological control agents, the implementation of good agricultural practices, and the evaluation of resistant or tolerant varieties. This resolution supports INIA's participation in regional coordination and in strengthening technical capacities for the prevention and sustainable management of Foc R4T, one of the greatest threats to banana and plantain cultivation in South America.
