Ministerial Resolution No. 0148-2021-MIDAGRI: Creation of a Sectoral Working Group to coordinate, strengthen, and ensure sectoral and regional actions to address the national phytosanitary emergency caused by Foc R4T.

This resolution creates the Sectoral Working Group for the Coordination, Strengthening, and Assurance of Actions in Response to the Phytosanitary Emergency caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Race 4 Tropical (Foc R4T). This group seeks to coordinate measures for the prevention, containment, and eradication of the pest in banana and plantain crops, in coordination with SENASA, regional governments, and other actors in the agricultural sector. The initiative strengthens the country's health governance and response capacity to a phytosanitary threat with regional and global impact.
