Resolution No. 0009 - Establishment of Mandatory Phytosanitary Measures for International Transit to Prevent the Introduction and Spread of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Tropical Race 4 (Foc TR4) - Ecuador

This resolution sets mandatory phytosanitary measures for the international transit of plants, plant products, and transport means crossing Ecuadorian territory, in order to prevent the introduction and spread of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Tropical Race 4 (Foc TR4). It defines disinfection and inspection protocols, certification requirements, sealing conditions for containers, and transit authorization procedures aligned with the IPPC’s ISPM No. 25 and WTO SPS Agreement.
