Plant Protection Act, 2024 Saint Christopher and Nevis

An Act to prevent the entry, establishment and spread of plant pests; to protect plant resources; to facilitate the safe movement of plants and plant products into and within Saint Christopher and Nevis; and to regulate related phytosanitary matters. The Act establishes the National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO), defines inspection and quarantine procedures, provides for import/export certification, emergency pest control mechanisms, and harmonisation with international standards such as the IPPC and SPS Agreement.
