Fecha de inicio: 2021
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

The “Taxonomy Roadmap Report” is a strategic framework developed by the Government of Canada to establish a national classification system for green and transition economic activities aimed at mobilizing investments toward sustainable growth. This framework defines scientific and financial criteria to identify projects and sectors aligned with the country’s climate and net-zero objectives. It also promotes coherence between public and private sectors by aligning finance with international environmental commitments. Its implementation seeks to enhance transparency, accountability, and the effective allocation of capital toward low-emission activities. In doing so, it supports a more resilient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible economy.
