Chile: National Strategy for Food Security Sovereignty

This tool was developed by the Office of Agricultural Studies and Policies (ODEPA) of the Chilean Ministry of Agriculture, with the collaboration of several ministries and social actors. Its objective is to guide the government's efforts toward strengthening the national food system, promoting a more resilient, inclusive, sustainable, and fair model. It seeks to guarantee the right to adequate food and strengthen the country's food security through intersectoral participation, protection of natural resources, promotion of healthy diets, appreciation of local producers, and integration of gender, youth, climate change, and sustainability approaches.
