Law Nº 30160 – Law Declaring of National Interest, Need and Public Utility the Implementation of Public Investment Projects in the Highlands for Water Harvesting and Storage.

Declares of national interest, need and public utility the implementation of public investment projects in the Peruvian highlands for water harvesting and storage. This includes the construction or improvement of dams, reservoirs, irrigation canals, and related infrastructure, as well as the training of agricultural producers in drip irrigation and other practices aimed at greater efficiency in water management. Its purpose is to significantly expand the agricultural frontier, promote the fight against poverty, and foster social inclusion.
