Decree on Tax Exemption for Organic Fertilizer Donation from Agro Orgánicos to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock

The decree exempts the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock from paying all types of taxes, fees, tariffs, contributions and maritime and port service charges for receiving a donation of one hundred thousand liters of Salvador Organic Fertilizer (Biofertilizer) offered by Agro Orgánicos company. The measure seeks to contribute to strengthening the agricultural sector and counteract the increase in agricultural input prices, facilitating access to high-quality organic products for food production. The decree establishes that the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock will coordinate the storage, distribution and use of the donation as an integral part of its sustainable agricultural development programs. The regulation requires all entities and authorities to adopt necessary measures to facilitate administrative processes and procedures that guarantee the prompt and immediate introduction of the donation. The legal framework maintains the surveillance and control of tax authorities to exercise the respective fiscal verification.
