This document highlights food sovereignty efforts at Pine Ridge Reservation, combining traditional and modern practices to strengthen tribal nutrition security. Youth actively participate through programs like Farm to School in production and agricultural education. Local organizations, supported by USDA, lead initiatives to revive traditional foods and improve access to healthy products in remote areas, advancing more equitable and sustainable food systems.
