Description

Supreme Decree No. 4007 creates the National Program to Support Fruit Production with the aim of contributing to the country's food security and sovereignty by increasing the production and competitiveness of the fruit sector in the areas of apple, peach, avocado, and custard apple. This program will be implemented by four implementing entities of the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands by component: Innovation by INIAF; Plant health and safety by SENASAG; Production by EMPODERAR; and Technical assistance and market by IPDSA. The total budget for the Program, coming from the National Treasury, is Bs. 169,309,917 (one hundred sixty-nine million three hundred nine thousand nine hundred seventeen 00/100 bolivianos) for the period 2020 to 2024.
