Description

This document presents the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) pilot initiative to expand access to organic dairy products in schools, universities, and youth programs. The strategy, coordinated by the Dairy Business Innovation (DBI) program, allocates $15 million to promote organic dairy consumption, strengthen connections between producers and markets, and encourage healthy eating habits among youth. Implementation is being carried out through regional entities in Vermont, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and California, with a focus on region-specific projects and collaboration with diverse stakeholders in the agricultural and education sectors.
