During the Food and Society Seminar, Minister Tereza Cristina stressed the urgency of creating mechanisms to keep women and youth in the countryside, highlighting their key role in the sustainability of the agricultural sector. The event, held at the IICA Brazil headquarters, brought together experts to discuss digital agriculture, the bioeconomy, and sustainable agriculture. The minister proposed expanding internet access, applying technologies, and strengthening technical assistance. The forum also emphasized the need to make rural life more attractive to stem the exodus and promote resilient production connected to the future.
