Lessons learned report: Scaling up rural youth access to inclusive financial services for entrepreneurship and employment

Description

This report gathers lessons from a project implemented in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi to improve rural youth access to financial services. Through training, mentorship, and linkages with financial institutions, the initiative aimed to promote youth entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector. The project applied tools such as business plan evaluation, peer-to-peer learning, and a digital platform (AYA) to strengthen capacities. These actions helped facilitate access to finance and improve rural youth employment opportunities.
