Description

The Born with Love Law establishes the regulatory framework to guarantee respectful birth and sensitive newborn care in El Salvador. This legislation promotes humanized care practices during the birth process and the first moments of the baby's life. The law seeks to protect the rights of mothers and newborns through care protocols that respect women's dignity and autonomy. It establishes quality standards for maternal and neonatal health services in the country. Its implementation contributes to strengthening the national health system and reducing maternal and infant mortality.
