Description

The Banana Production and Marketing Improvement Program was created to strengthen the productive potential of bananas and plantains by improving primary production, harvesting, and post-harvest systems, geared toward the domestic and export markets. This program is managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Forestry (MDRyT) and implemented by FONADIN (National Infrastructure Fund), INIAF (Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Innovation), and SENASAG (National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety), according to its components, with the participation of small and medium-sized producers in the departments of La Paz and Cochabamba.
