Peru: Law No. 29337 – Law Establishing Provisions to Support Productive Competitiveness

Law No. 29337 sets forth provisions to promote productive competitiveness through competitive grant initiatives implemented by regional and local governments, within the scope of their legal powers. These initiatives must follow procedures, methodologies, and impact evaluation criteria approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Direct cash transfers to beneficiaries and the inclusion of operating or maintenance expenses in any form are not allowed.
