Description

The Territorial Development Investment Fund (FIDT), established through Legislative Decree No. 1435, is a competitive fund aimed at reducing gaps in basic service and infrastructure provision with a high impact on poverty reduction and productivity enhancement, using a territorial approach. It finances or co-finances investments and pre-investment studies (profiles and technical files) submitted by regional and local governments. The fund prioritizes projects related to basic health and education services, child malnutrition and anemia, sanitation, rural electrification, road and agricultural infrastructure, rural telecommunications, and support for productive development.
