National Plan for the Dissemination of Specialized Agricultural Information (PLANDIA 2025)

The National Plan for the Dissemination of Specialized Agricultural Information (PLANDIA 2025), published in January 2025 by Peru's Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), is an annual planning instrument of the National Network for the Dissemination of Specialized Agricultural Information (REDIAGRO). It guides and coordinates specialized agricultural information dissemination activities carried out by participating institutions, with the purpose of facilitating access to technical, statistical, production-related and market information that supports decision-making among agricultural stakeholders. The plan operates through coordination among MIDAGRI departments, affiliated public agencies, programs, special projects, regional governments and other institutions involved in the agricultural sector. It provides for the organization and dissemination of specialized content through information activities and institutional communication channels. Its intended audience includes agricultural stakeholders, particularly agricultural producers. PLANDIA 2025 operationalizes REDIAGRO's information dissemination and institutional coordination functions, established under Supreme Decree No. 014-2012-AG. Its reference period is 2025. It is not a sanitary regulation, financing program, subsidy policy, technological infrastructure investment initiative or standalone technical assistance or agricultural productivity program.
