Description

This Resolution approves Sanitary Standard NTS No. 128-MINSA-2016-DIGESA, which establishes the Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) of pesticides for agricultural use allowed in food intended for human consumption. Its purpose is to protect the health of the population by determining the maximum acceptable levels of pesticide residues in such food. The standard has two main objectives: to serve as a basis for the surveillance and sanitary control of food, and to establish a technical reference standard for the competent authority to monitor and evaluate chemical risks in food consumption.
