Peru: Sanitary Regulations for the Production and Commercialization of Genetic Material of Production Animals (DS N° 010-2022-midagri)

The Sanitary Regulations for the Production and Marketing of Genetic Material of Production Animals, approved by Supreme Decree No. 010-2022-MIDAGRI, establishes provisions for the application of sanitary measures in activities related to such genetic material. Its purpose is to contribute to epidemiological surveillance, as well as to the prevention, control and eradication of diseases that may compromise animal health and affect the country's sanitary status. This regulation is mandatory for all natural or legal persons, public or private, profit or non-profit, involved in the production or commercialization of genetic material of production animals.
