Peru: Strategy of the Agricultural Services Platform of the Agriculture and Irrigation Sector - SERVIAGRO (Resolution Nº 019-2017-MINAGRI).

Through Resolution No. 019-2017-MINAGRI, the national implementation of the Strategy of the Agricultural Services Platform of the Agriculture and Irrigation Sector - SERVIAGRO is approved, as part of the agricultural policy instruments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MINAGRI), within the framework of its guiding role. SERVIAGRO's main objective is to strengthen the productive and entrepreneurial capacities of family agriculture, with emphasis on small and medium-sized producers in the agricultural, livestock and forestry sectors. The monitoring and evaluation of the strategy will be the responsibility of MINAGRI, through the General Directorate for Policy Monitoring and Evaluation (DGESEP), in coordination with the Regional Agrarian Management Committees (CGRA) or their equivalents, in accordance with the competencies of each entity. To this end, the necessary mechanisms will be established to ensure adequate implementation and monitoring of SERVIAGRO.
