Description

The regulation, established for Supreme Decree No. 014-2024-MINAM, aims to develop the provisions of Law No. 28245, Framework Law of the National Environmental Management System, specifying the nature and structure of the National Environmental Management System (SNGA), the roles played by its members, the existing environmental management instruments, and the coordination and articulation mechanisms between the different actors that are part of the system, this regulation seeks to ensure the proper functioning of the SNGA, promoting coherence in the actions of the entities that integrate it during the implementation of the National Environmental Policy. All this while respecting their respective autonomies and contributing effectively to the protection of the environment, as well as to the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. The provisions of these regulations are applicable to all public entities of the national, regional and local levels of government that exercise competencies, functions or attributions related to the environment and natural resources. It also applies to natural or legal persons in the private sector that participate in environmental management or in the management of such resources.
