Peru: Amendment to the Environmental Management Regulations for the Agricultural and Irrigation Sector (Supreme Decree 005-2025-MIDAGRI)

Supreme Decree 005-2025-MIDAGRI amends the Environmental Management Regulations for the Agricultural and Irrigation Sector, previously approved by Supreme Decree No. 006-2024-MIDAGRI. This amendment affects Articles 53, 62, 70 and 97, as well as the First, Fourth and Seventh Transitory Complementary Provisions. The objective is to provide greater legal certainty to those responsible for projects and activities that may cause environmental impacts that are considered non-significant.
