Peru: Multiannual Sectoral Strategic Plan (PESEM) of the Women and Vulnerable Populations Sector 2024 - 2030

The PESEM 2024-2030 of the Women and Vulnerable Populations Sector establishes the sectoral strategy to meet the objectives of the sector's national policies, in line with the Strategic Plan for National Development (PEDN) and the provisions of the Law on the Organization and Functions of the MIMP. It contributes to Strategic Objective 1.5 of the PEDN, which seeks to guarantee equal opportunities and social inclusion of all people, with special attention to women and vulnerable groups, while promoting respect and appreciation of cultural and ethnic diversity. This document is mandatory for all entities that are part of the sector, as well as for the different levels of government within the scope of their competencies and for other entities, and acts as an orienting guide in decision-making related to women and vulnerable populations.
