Through Supreme Decree No. 006-2024-Produce, the “National Policy for Quality by 2030” was made official, whose main objective is to promote the adoption of quality standards in the production, marketing and consumption of goods and services, in order to consolidate and strengthen the National Quality System, led by the National Quality Institute (Inacal).
The PNC is articulated around three priority objectives:

- Expand the supply of services linked to the Quality Infrastructure (QI): The aim is to strengthen the capacities of public and private entities throughout the country to offer services related to technical standards, conformity assessment and metrology.
-Promote a culture of quality: The aim is to raise awareness among consumers about the importance of quality, encouraging the demand for products and services that meet high standards.
