The Updated National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan of Suriname 2024-2035 establishes a comprehensive framework for the conservation, sustainable use, and management of the country's biodiversity over the next decade. This strategic document defines objectives, targets, and priority actions to protect Suriname's ecosystems, species, and genetic resources, aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
