Description
The National Policy on Sustainable Production and Consumption (2020-2030) establishes the strategic framework to transform production and consumption patterns in the Dominican Republic towards more sustainable and circular models. This instrument articulates guidelines, objectives, and actions to promote resource efficiency, reduce environmental impacts, and develop sustainable value chains. The policy encourages the adoption of cleaner production practices, responsible consumption, and the transition toward a green and circular economy. It constitutes a fundamental tool to advance sustainable development and contribute to the fulfillment of the country's international environmental commitments.
