National Forest and Wildlife Research Plan 2020-2030 and National Forest and Wildlife Research Agenda 2020-2025

Joint publication issued by Peru's National Forest and Wildlife Service (SERFOR) in May 2021, comprising the National Forest and Wildlife Research Plan (PNIFFS) 2020-2030 and the National Forest and Wildlife Research Agenda (ANIFFS) 2020-2025. The PNIFFS was approved through Executive Directorate Resolution No. D000109-2020-MINAGRI-SERFOR-DE, published on October 25, 2020, and serves as a strategic planning instrument to strengthen scientific research, technological development and innovation in the forest and wildlife sector. It promotes coordination among science, technology and innovation stakeholders, knowledge and technology generation, and the dissemination, transfer and adoption of research results by sector users. The ANIFFS 2020-2025, approved through Executive Directorate Resolution No. D000140-2020-MINAGRI-SERFOR-DE, identifies priority research areas to guide research activities, channel resources and coordinate participating institutions. The 2020-2025 agenda completed its planning period and was succeeded by the National Forest and Wildlife Research Agenda 2026-2030. The PNIFFS retains 2030 as its planning horizon.
