Fecha de inicio: 2020
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

The National Conservation Plan for Threatened Primates of Peru is a strategic instrument developed by SERFOR in 2020 to protect and recover vulnerable primate populations in the country. It establishes a comprehensive framework of priority actions aimed at reducing the threats facing these species, such as habitat loss, illegal trafficking, and ecosystem fragmentation. It proposes strategic lines that include scientific research, strengthening of protected areas, community participation, and environmental education. It integrates biodiversity conservation considerations with the sustainable development of local communities that coexist with these primates in their territories.
